Attached are pictures of two young vets that I took fishing on Sunday.  They are great guys to fish with and I learned a lot about the human spirit.

One lived through 15 IEDs and the other lived through 12 - most without  "breaking skin" (he has two purple hearts) - they are enthusiastic about fly fishing and have more guys over in the valley that could use it.

Talking to one (Mike) he was saying that the big trips (Montana & Belize) while great were a little much especially with disabilities but the day or two trips are great - especially with other vets around the fire at night where they can bond with - (I think that is a term for telling fishing lies).

Lloyd and I fished Davis last week - he hadn't caught a bass that big in Oregon, he was from Texas and still has a little twang at times.  Sunday we fished Crane Prarie - we didn't do much, but did see one boat catch a true lunker at the mouth of Cultus River (that is the fishing report part of this).  Lloyd is also an awesome photographer and has taken some truly great photographs of fishing.

This is just to let you know there are opportunities out there, if anybody finds themselves with an open seat or place by the river...............
